In this two-part series, students will attend a lecture and a lab on climate change.
Thursday, April 11 @ 10:00am - Climate Change Lecture: A college-style lecture class where students learn the basic science and research methods used by scientists to understand how and why the climate is changing and what that means for our world and our future.
Thursday, April 18 @ 10:00am - Climate Change Lab: A hands-on lab class where students learn the basic science and research methods used by scientists to understand how climate is changing and has changed in the past. Specific topics that will be covered in depth include paleoclimatology, mass spectrometry, and ice core research.
Note: Parents do not need to attend the lab with their child but do need to remain in the Museum.
