Science Detectives: Fossils - Windows into the Past

This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday October 19

10:15 AM  –  11:15 AM

Give your students a unique opportunity to study fossil specimens from North Carolina and elsewhere. Students examine fossils to learn how they form and how fossils tell us about the past. Students also explore how we know the age of fossils and how a geologic map can help with fossil dating and identification.

Note: Parents need to remain in the Museum during the program.

Children must be 11 years of age or older to register them for this program.

Members, sign in to your account or create one (upper right corner) to receive a 25% discount. Member discount will be applied at checkout.
