Discover live animals and plants from a variety of tropical habitats during this program highlighting biodiversity within tropical ecosystems, North Carolina’s connections with the New World tropics, and plant and animal strategies for survival.  The program includes a tour of the Living Conservatory, our Central American tropical dry forest exhibit, where students can find live butterflies, turtles, a tarantula, snake, and even a two-toed sloth.

Children must be between the ages of 8 and 11 to register them for this program.
