Join our Natural Sciences Classroom for a fun, interactive experience with Museum experts! Did you know that North Carolina has more species of salamander than any other state? This week, we will learn all about our slimy, secretive neighbors. We'll discuss their fascinating life cycles, where they live, their neat adaptations, and some of the most common species you might find near you.

After completing registration, you will receive an email with a program link and instructions on how to reserve accessibility accommodations, such as ASL interpretation or live captioning.

Members, please sign in to your account, or register to create one, at the top of this page.

Note: Programs are conducted in Zoom and may be recorded for the Museum archive.

Many of these topics are available to schedule for an organized group. Teachers, camp coordinators, and other group leaders should contact outreach@naturalsciences.org to schedule a separate program.
