A Cultural Conversation is an enlightening exchange of thoughts, opinions and ideas about race in a safe space. For 90-minutes, participants can engage in a dialogue facilitated by local volunteers trained as Circle Keepers.

Minimum group size is 5 people. Maximum group size is 25 people. Open to the public, ages 6 and up. Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must be available for the entire 90-minute session.  We recommend spending at least one hour in the RACE exhibition before your Conversation, many of the conversation prompts are related to your exhibition experience.

To request an accommodation, such as a Spanish-speaking facilitator, or for more information, contact Yemi Adewuyi at yemi@ajf.org. If you need assistance in registering a group, please contact the Museum Box Office at 919.707.9950.

Online registration closes 48 hours prior to each event.  Please contact our box office to see if there are still spaces available.  919.707.9950
