ecoEXPLORE is a program for kids in K–8th grade that encourages them to make scientific observations in a fun way. Using smartphones or tablets, kids can make observations that scientists can use in their own research and also earn points and prizes at the same time!
This program will introduce kids and parents to the program and how it all works! Come with a charged smartphone/tablet or a camera, a water bottle, and be dressed for a short hike. Make an account beforehand at www.ecoexplore.net and you can even begin making observations before this program.
Registration is required and closes 24 hours before the start of the program. Best for kids in grades K-8 and their families. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Program is limited to 20 participants.
